I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
